Conditions of Participation


To participate in the 7th World Deer Congress and to submit abstracts, you must register on the forum’s website (Information for Participants - Registration).

Participation in the 7th World Deer Congress is FREE.

Who can take part:

Representatives of Russian and foreign companies;

Officials of executive and legislative bodies;

Research and non-governmental organizations;

Associations, unions and representative offices related to the production and processing of velvet antler products;

Representatives of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, heads of sports organisations, leading scientists and experts in sports and high-performance disciplines, doctors in sports medicine and coaches.

Abstracts and application forms for congress registration shall be submitted to the Organising Committee by 1 July 2018.

The subject of the report shall correspond to the theme of the event.

All travel expenses as well as accommodation and meals shall be covered by the participants.

Participants shall arrange their accommodation independently and book the desired room category.

Possible places to stay: Sibir, Katun and Avrora health resorts; Blagodat and Belovodye hotels; Rossiya business hotel.

Personal passes (badges):

Participants must show their personal pass to enter the venue of the 7th World Deer Congress 2018 and the exhibition sites.

To get a participant badge, you must provide the required information using the participant’s online personal account.

Provide the following information in your personal account:

Surname, first name and patronymic (in Russian and English), date of birth, place of work, position, country and city (town).

Participants who are unable to get (print out) their personal passes, may pick up their badges at the registration desk of the Congress.

Requirements to abstracts (reports):

Abstracts (reports) shall be submitted as MS Word files;

The text shall be single-spaced, in Russian (English for foreign participants), Arial, size, page settings:

Left margin—2.0 cm 

Right margin—2.0 cm

Top margin—2.0 cm

Bottom margin—2.0 cm;

First line indent—1.27 cm

Paragraphs should be clearly defined;

Enable widow/orphan control.

Abstracts (reports) shall not exceed 7 full pages.

If the author includes a source list in the abstracts, references to each source must be given in the text of the abstracts in square brackets.

Structure of abstracts (reports):

The initials and last name of the author (authors) must be printed in the top right corner (Arial, font size 12, bold, italics); the name of the organisation (abbreviated) and city (town) must also be written in the top right corner (Arial, font size 12, italics).

The title of the abstract shall be centre aligned, in capital letters (Arial, font size 12 , bold).

The title of abstracts must be followed by a short summary (40–50 words maximum, single-spaced, in Russian (in English for foreign participants), Arial, font size 12), and keywords (five or fewer) typed in capital letters (Arial, font size 12).

It is recommended to use the template attached to this information letter (Шаблон.docx) when preparing abstracts, as it contains the set indents, font sizes, etc. The Organising Committee reserves the right not to include materials in the final book of reports that do not correspond to the conference profile and that do not comply with the above requirements.

Abstracts that are rejected due to non-compliance with the conference profile or deadlines, or because they don’t comply with document formatting requirements, will not be published.

The Organising Committee shall check all abstracts for plagiarism (the minimum threshold is 70%).

Abstracts are published in the author’s edition.

Authors of articles are responsible for the data presented in their abstracts.
